Hi Everyone, Just wanted to pass along my congratulations to all on such a great website! Good, solid members, and great cars, (more pics please!). Quick bio here, own a 73 Grand Am, 455 built by SD Performance, Tremec TKO 5-spd, dropped spindles, 3" exhaust, etc., etc.. Owned a 65 GTO for 25 yrs. did a body off frame resto on, (probably won't do that again), a 70 GTO, a multitude of Firebirds, and several others. I also currently own a 55 Chev ex-California straight axle Gasser that will receive a "built" Pontiac 455 backed by a Muncie. Sure to tick off the Chevy guys, but you can't please everybody. Have always loved the Canadian Pontiacs for their pure uniqueness and amazing powertrain combos. Keep up the good work everyone, and please keep the old drag photos and period city pics and comments coming. Talk to ya soon!

Thanks all for the great welcome, most appreciated! To Pontorquer, indeed, originally from Vancouver! How did you make the connection? I will definitely start sending more pics of my vehicles, including the 55 Gasser as well as my current project 55 GMC pick up. I purchased the totally stock GMC locally about 4 years ago, (it's the one in the background of my avatar). I have since gutted it, re-wired it, rebuilt the front susp. with CPP disc kit, installed 50 Pontiac tail lights, with much more to come. Power will be a mildly warmed Cadillac 500 backed by a T-400, etc. The end product idea is a Gasser style look, but with towing capacity. As you can guess, I'm more of a modifier/hot rodder than a resto guy, but I appreciate and admire the dedication that goes into an all original product. Having said all of this I hope my interests are not outside the realm of this site and that I can still hang here! Let me know.

Glad to have you on site! I moved from Vancouver 5 years ago. Loved the Island. I worked on the cancer clinic in Victoria, and the Home depot in Langford. Look up at the sprinklers, that was me.
I'm a bit behind the times in my Welcome, nice to have another 73 A body on board. Hey and I just reread some posts, Cadillac powered GMC , man I have a GMC and two Cadillacs so you are in the right place!

- 65sssd, if that is your garage in your avatar then you are livin' the dream my friend! - Stephenzone, my 55 GMC is a 9300 series. BTW, went to the SaanichSwap Meet last weekend and scored a new/old chrome patina-ed front bumper for the truck, something I've been looking for for a while. Pretty happy about that. - 73SC, yikes, the similarity between that other GA and mine is unsettling. I see a colour change in my future. Included a couple more pics for your review. The 76 Firebird Esprit is mine as well.
