Hey guys , need some help before i jump in. Years ago i owned a 67 beaumont, did everything but the frame off. This was 20 plus years ago, things have changed. Anyways a while back i bought a 67 with a four door parts car. The two door which i plan on rebuiding is in pretty bad shape, the frame on the four door is in mint shape ,hence part of the reason for the frame off.Anyways the thing that scares me is the trunk area of the two door, inner and outer wheel wells on both sides pretty bad, most things i can do ,other than body work, quarters can be replaced and so can floors , but i"m wondering if this is a bit too much.Keep in mind that i am not concerned this is only a two door vanilla model instead of a sd or a conv. I will try to post a pic off trunk area, anyone with bodywork exp please chime in. Thanx

As Ray says parts are available got any friends who love to help and have body work experience?? go for it it will make you feel 25 years younger
Like you said, that you have a good frame. So it's basically replacing the rear clip. I think most of this sheetmetal is available. The biggest decision is devoting the time and money and remembering why you want to do it. I think those cars are worth saving so I may be a little biased!
Jump right in it is the best thing in life. Now that I am finished my 57 it just sits. It has been 3 weeks since I took the cover of it . Building the car was way more fun than driving it. If I thought I could almost break even on it it would be gone. Don't be scared just take you time make sure you mark every piece you take of. Put all the bolts from each area separate don't just throw them all in one pail. It will make putting it back together a lot easier.

doesn't look so bad- doesn't matter if the hole is an inch round or a foot round it still needs a patch, go for it ! reminds me of my first car a 67 Beaumont Custom two door hardtop
Go for it. Like they say all the parts are available. My son is doing a 67 Camaro that needs rockers, left and right floor panels , inner and outer wheel wells, trunk floor, both quarters, and much more. He has never welded before this project but he is doing it one part at a time and having a blast. He should be an expert welder by the time he is finished.

Building them is really a neat deal. The thing you really have to think about is the cost. Are you looking for a project to fill some time and self satisfaction? If you have a budget of less than $35k don't even start it, it will cost at least that much if you do the majority of work yourself. You can buy real nice cars for $25-$30k and drive them right away, and sell it off when you want a change for about the same amount. BUT, DON'T just let it sit! If your not going to do it, post it so someone else can buy it and get it done! Good luck!
I did my 69 gto rag, replaced everything rear of the doors, rebuilt the front fenders, re-skined the doors. After it was done, I knew what I had. Not someone elses word as to what they had done,
