Welding Aluminum/pot metal

Is anyone here on site , in Ontario, a welder?    I have a grille, for my hood scoop, that needs to be cut, and modified, and re-welded.. hmm

I've been playing with the "pot metal" repair for awhile and finally found a product that works really well.. it's called Muggy weld ( http://www.muggyweld.com/potmetal.html ). it works better than alladen 3 in 1, and has a lower melting temp too. I've had some success with TIG welding parts, but it's really inconsistent due to what the metal has for junk in it. This Muggy weld product works like solder and flows nice and can be chromed.

just my tid bit.. I weld for a living but that doesnt mean I know anything.. LOL

Thanks    I will take picture of metal grille, and the hood.. We notched the hood scoop, to go over the crease in hood, but I forgot the grille. duh   I can cut the bottom bar off for clearance, but a little cut and weld and chrome would be nicer... Carl
