Too bad we can't get a picture of the data plate for Fred and the VIN for that matter.

I would like to know the production numbers for LS4 wagons.  I have only run across one other one and it was from Winnipeg.

now that I think about it, the Safari Estate wagon should have the Bonneville grill inserts.  I've got some vacation time coming up, I think I may have to take a run up and see this thing.

Looks like it would need a parts car to save it, but if it's got the powertrain,  it looks worth saving. Isn't there a yard in AB that has a couple of these in it? Seem to recall a post on here about it. I can't remember the guy's name now but I bought some 63 Pontiac parts from him about 5 years ago.

One thing I noticed about the cars I saw in the Tilley AB salvage yard I visited last fall was that a lot of the sheet metal was very solid.

It's about 2-1/2 hours from me.  The seller e-mailed me, the rear window is gone, and it's been open to the elements.  Someone has also butchered the sheet metal around the tail lights.  Show up with cash & trailer and take it away, he doesn't want people to come and look and decide later.   Hmmmm

I think there's another Safari Wagon (with 350) in the Peace River yard, I remember seeing photo's a while back on this site, and it looked like Peace River as there was also a 2+2 that I'd seen before in the photo's.

Clint, you need to go get this car. I  don't think Flatla has a 69 or 70 wagon for the taillights, etc. But I'm sure the Panchyshyn yard has one. Address is RR1, Legal AB 780-721-1147

yup John, those are the photo's I was thinking of from Peace River.  Notice the Bonneville grills in the Estate Wagon.   As with everyone, I've got a storage issue.

I don't recall the Panchyshyn's having a wagon when I was there.  (remember, I got the engine out of the white 70 2+2 convertible)

I'm sure you are right, since you were there, and I was only going on the basis of what I thought I'd seen here. I wonder if Ivan Perry in Gibbons AB has anything? What about Tin Man in BC? Any wagons in the Jackson's yard in Ontario?

I hear you about storage issues. I'm full now unless I sell something. 63 Chevy parts car is up for sale now; also thinking about selling another project car to make space for something better - like a 2 door post or a wagon, BB preferred.
