Thanks for the link!  That is a very cool car!  I had no idea such a cool bird was made and better yet.....it's CANADIAN!

Here is the car in HPP http://www.highperformancepontiac.com/features/hppp_1008_1969_pontiac_firebird_comanche/index.html

WOW! Way too cool! (I've read about it before, but of course have never seen one.)
Thanks for posting Carl! (Not to be greedy but, any side shots of the car in it's entirety?)

Never mind, saw the profile shots in the link.  Again...WOW!

There are cool cars, but was that the only colour combo available ? Not the most atractive colour on a firebird.

Speak of the devil! I recently scanned an old 1960 Pontiac advertisement from a Candian Readers Digest from 1969 (Ive been sitting on it for many decades). What can I say? Im getting old.

Note the colour. I would have loved to order a new 1969 Firebird with that colour, drivetrain, plus a raft of other options like leather, am/fm, gauges, Koni shocks, Hurst shifted 4-speed, etc.

Really, the colour is very conspicuous given the history of Pontiac Canada around that time. Hmmm...

I think the power bucket seat is cool    as is the rest of the car, including the air pump to pump up tires and such
