Cool & wet summer here in Ontario

Next 5 days its going to rain with below normal temps here in Southern Ontario. Its been great for us that have to work in the heat, no A/C bills and grass & flower have never been better. We are at the half way part of summer and it still hasn`t started yet.

The 14 day forecast from the weather network isn't much different. I agree it's great for sleeping but some more sunshine would be nice!

I miss the sunshine. Tell me again what it looks like. And weather warm enough for shorts. I've heard stories of those days in times gone by but haven't seen them for a long time.

The only benefit to this is that I have not used the house air conditioning ONCE this year, in fact, it still has the cover on it!  Saving mega-bucks on hydro this summer...

Not counting the time at the border, driving time was exactly 6 1/2 hours so saved 1 1/2 hours over the Buffalo - Akron - Columbus route.

Sure could use some of that Ontario sun at the cabin. It's taking the lake a lonnnnnnnnnng time to warm up this year.

This was the sunrise this morning, while driving to work, Looked a little smoggy, but its the smoke finally made it over the mountains from the Kelowna fires.

It's good to hear that the east is cooler. I heard this morning on the radio that Ontario is able to send us out a bunch of firefighters. When I left my jobsite yesterday it was 36 and the weekend sounds pretty warm still. Lots of smoke.
