2010   already a disaster (for some)

no disaster here ! this is the good life !

I'm glad he sold it ! helps him out-great new owner-its out of the taking so I don't have to worry about it-and I'm now one closer to your car !

I prayed for David and it worked-

so according to that-you sold it to Leo ? I thought you bought it from Leo ?

I see Fawcett owned it a couple times too

As I suspected, this car is the car that my brother photographed for Leo's Auto Sales in Seaforth back in 1980 when he worked for Auto Trader. I still have the old black & white ad somewhere. I was going to say 'small world', but when the pool of 1967 Sport Deluxe (738-series) convertibles is a derivative from the original 66 cars made, the chances are very good that any that you see are ones that you may have also seen in the past.    On that note...

Back in 1992 I was at a car show / cruise at Markington Square (Markham & Eglinton in Scarborough) when I saw an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird. I chatted with the owner and told him his is only the second one I had actually seen in person (up to that time). The only other one I had seen was back in 1970, an orange one that I saw while camping at Rice Lake at Serpent Mounds. The guy was amused because he had owned it since new and he lived around Rice Lake. It was the same car I saw new!

I bought it from Leo himself (Aug 79)   He probably switched it over from the previous owner in 79..   In 1980 I traded it with Leo's brother Dennis for his 69Z28 Camaro... Dennis traded it to Leo's mechanic Bill Henderson   Then in Nov 80 Leo took it to auction....
