Deerfoot Kruise tonight(pics)

Pics from the cruise tonight, they were having a Drive-In movie(Grease) but I didn't stay for that.
Got a couple Data Tags, I think they're new ones, Hope I'm not doubling up on any of these...
ENJOY!!!          Ken

Hey! That silver/black 56 has my radiator! smile.gif

Camaros are not really my cup of tea, but gotta love the tin work underhood on this one:

This link doesn't work for me. It sends me to a general picture home page.

Me Neither, but this ones owned by one of the girls I work with's brother? or a relative.  Its been invited by Chip Foose to the SEMA show.
Pretty fancy car, didn't ask what colours gonna be on it though.   It even has Night Vision?????  Why would you need that?  LOL

Hmmm, I thought with the flat back paint it was someone who was a real car guy with some talent for tin work (every race car needs good tin work) so I am sorry to hear that it is one of those Chip Foosball overpriced things, just not with paint yet.

I guess the fancy injector cover should have tipped me off.

He is a real car guy, but he definately puts alot into them..... He also was in on the Black and the Blue Beaumonts in the pics. They work out of a shop here in Calgary, they also built a 67 Camaro rag, and have a 68 Camaro HT and 70 Chevelle in the works...
Hes more of a perfectionist I guess, but I agree, flat black is the way to go...LOL

The owner is a true car guy, through and through. It is flat black because he was looking to apply "rat rod" style to a muscle car.

I think he pulled it off perfectly.

OK, I am glad to hear that, this matches my first impression (and when I am finally done with mine hopefully I will have a few surprises of custom touches like his FI cover and that glorious tinwork over the rad support - not to give away too much now but one will be sequential button-LED turn signals built into the "eyebrows" above the headlights) and he did pull off the correct satin black rat rod on a quintessential muscle car beautifully.

I guess I am guilty of knee-jerk reaction to CF type cars.
