Pictures off a junkyard

Edmonton 071.jpgEdmonton 038.jpg

My visit in Edmonton brought me to see over a dozen Pontiac's

Edmonton 043.jpg

Anybody need a wagon?

Edmonton 044.jpg

Seen about 5 old GMC pick-ups. Sorry don't ask me the year

Part of the yard.

A 1958 parisienne convertable. Not too many of these cars left.

These are all parts cars

A poor Beaumont rusting away.
Ivan the owner was a great guy to talk too. I wanted to take some parts with me, but no room. He told me he will ship and sometimes goes to the coast and will bring a whole car.biggrinbiggrin

You mean this one?
That is a pretty rare 58 laurentian 2dr HT
The sister would be the equally rare 58 belair 2dr HT.
Neat car.

$2,500 ,but I think it's that price for every car. I talked to his wife and sounds like she'll give you a better deal.

Is there much rust in the project cars he has? He's got some interesting pieces there.

Most were rusty and like this one no motor or trans, most of the car was there
Edmonton 048.jpg

I think this one had it's motor and look all there

Edmonton 047.jpg
This one didn't look that rusty
Edmonton 055.jpg
The 1/4's were both gone on this
Edmonton 068.jpg
This one still had it's inline 6 in it.
I only had about 1 hour or so in the yard as I left my wife at the mall, plus it was raining and didn't go in to the tall grass to see what was in there.

Thank God there are some places left in Canada where there are some decent project cars/parts left.  Most of the stuff of this vintage in Ontario was crushed by the early 90's and whatever is left in places like Jackson's are pretty well rusted away.

Agreed. My dream retirement would be to spend time hauling car carriers full of old Western cars back East here. I can imagine owning a large old warehouse full of these cars called, "2nd Chance Classics", and spreading the word through car clubs and cruise-ins..........."You want your old Western project, Ontario? Come and get it."

I think there's a business here. Someone do it. wink
