Yummmmmmmmm!

Man I love this time of year!! We just had "Morgan's favourite" corn tonight for supper. Family of 4, 13 cobs, 5 bucks, 3 leftover. 19-20 rows, sweet, very big,( can't close your fist around the top.) Next week he has the best corn we ever had last year, Visions! Can't wait!!!! Anyone headed this way I'll give you directions to his farm!smile

After being there Friday and Saturday to eat, I have the wife drop me off on the road Sunday so I can run in and grab 2 peach sundays and take them home to eat. There is a small car show on as well.

I picked up a basket of fresh peaches for $2.49 today. Our lettuce finished early in the backyard garden. We're waiting forever for the green peppers. Still waiting for the carrots too. I've had 2, three litre baskets of beans so far. Corn is coming along, tassles just starting to turn brown, hopefully not much longer. Just picked the first red tomato, got LOTS of them growing just waiting to ripen. Nothing beats just going out to your backyard to pick the stuff you grow.
