Well it arrived today, from CPSC, very well done newsletter, enjoyed looking at the photo's of some fine canadian poncho's. Hopefully we will see lots of articlesin the future of more canadian vehicles. How many of those listed in the chapter are members here, at least if we are travelling accross this great country, we now have the start of a contact list
Ray Great job on the first edition, things have come a long way from the days of the old gestetner machines, glue sticks and plain old photocopiers
Thanks fellas, it looks better in printed form , Paul had to do a little reformatting to get it on the web.
The Chapter has about 12 members who I am familar with posting on here, of course lots of people look around and never post too. That list in the newsletter is the charter members, we had 4 new applications this week alone!
I hope people will contribute articles and make my life easier.
Ray "Great job" on our first CPSC Newsletter. I hope all our members enjoyed it as much as I did. I feel the more exposier we have for the Canadian Pontiacs, Acadians, and Beaumonts the more people will realize how rare & unique these cars are. Keep up the good work. Lets spread the word on our new chapter and build it into a strong united Chapter.
I would also like to thank the Canadian Poncho web site for allowing us to use their form to get the New Canadian Pontiac Specialty Chapter started. I hope Canadian Poncho members will check out our web site at www.canadianpontiac.org and think about becoming members of CPSC. All Canadian Pontiac owners and want be owners are welcome. Please contact Paul Bergstrom at pcpvnews@ties2.net or Joe Lizon at jslizon@yahoo.com
Anyone wanting to submit articles, pictures, comments, cars or parts for sale, or member bios for upcoming issues please email Ray White at raymond.white @sympatico.ca
A Big thanks to Hillar who was our on the spot reporter gathering info & pictures for our first newsletter. Joe Lizon CPSC Pres.

We have to be careful about posting personal information on the web. The list of Charter members is in the direct mailed newletter only for privavcy reasons. You can look up any member on the POCI site and get addresses and phone numbers too but of course you have to be a member first to access that part of the web site.
When was this mailed out? I haven't received mine yet. Ray, did you get yours?
Left at post office on August 13th at 17:45 pm O'connor & Dome, Hillar. I decided not to mail one to myself but next time I will for control purposes. Paul Bergstrom has put a fairly complete PDF copy up on the web site.
I guarantee you Clint and Hillar I did mail to you both. The real frustrating part is that the post office I used is probably less that one mile from Hillar's home. I can understand 3 or 4 days to Calgary but less than one mile?
Thanks for the nice shots Hillar. We were speaking tonight and decided that Hillar must hold the record for actually meeting in person the most Canadian Poncho and CPSC members. He's only going to add to that tally at this weekends gathering at ARCADIANS place in Chatsworth ON.
I haven't received it yet but I'm looking forward to it. Looks very nice in the e-version.
If it can't make it one mile in 4 days in Toronto can't imagine how long it might take to get to NL ! It is much better in printed format John! I did mail it to you for sure.
Well thenon delivery mystery is solved and a new one uncoverd. I just got home and I have a handful of undelivered mail here, says insufficient postage by 20 cents. Now these things were weighed and run through our equipment at the office. I know sometimes once the mail flattens out and when the air is out of the envelope they weigh more, ok I accept that could be the case.
Now someone has to expalin to me why they are all Ontario and why Kim got his in BC, Joe in Michigan and Paul in Minnesota. Also why it takes 10 days to return them to me ? Our post office at work.

If you care about creating work you check at the end point and return if incorrect. If you care about optimized results you ignore 20 cents. If you care about maximum revenue you check at the beginning.

Remember, "The Government" only has money confiscated from us.
If you think that's strange, get this. I mailed out a T-shirt to a CP member. A few days later Connie opens the side door of our house and finds the box sitting there with the maling label missing! The CP member emailed me a couple of days ago to report he got a package. When he opened it he discovered a 1/2" thick book by Conseil Ontarien de la qualite des services de sante entitled Observateur-Q and 5 pamphlets by the same people. Yep -- all in francais! The label was mine- it only had his first name on it as my wife couldn't find his last name when she printed it for me. Only thing I can figure is it somehow fell off the package and a postal worker guessed where it came from and stuck it on this one!
Well I got your's Todd, I was going to go out and repost but we have this Bad A$s Tornando or something else reall nasty whipping through TO right now. We're headed for the basement.
