For sure not in 66 but it seems to me the site member here from Kentucky (67BBSD's former blue 67 SD) has factory rallys.

Thanks for digging these up.  I don't recall ever seeing the "Standard 737-738" (9783624) '66 Beaumont hub cap?  Anyone have a good shot of one?

I have never seen a 62-69 Beaumont or Acadian or Pontiac with rallys (original)  The first I have ever seen (original) were on 70 2+2's and they were 15 x6  and had the flat centres w/o markings     The 396 crossed flags were installed by owners..nod.gif

Documentation? On the registry it lists that car as PO1...

should have something other than PO1 or PO2.... pehaps ZJ7?

Just wondering if we have a documented code anywhere...

Ok, I am wrong there. I was going by memory. As you recall that car was owned by a fellow by the name of Steve in Winnipeg before it went east and then south.

However, that is 25 years ago so I plead insanity!

I can't find the option code for rally wheels on a 67. I got the part number though. 3918078 which is changed up from the original part number, 3901326. Listed as fitting w/disc brakes, w/ wide oval tires and 14" X 6" rim stamped JJ. Same part number for 68 and 69 Beaumont with rally wheels.

I am pretty confident saying that if you ordered disc brakes on a 67 Beaumont you got this rim because I GM didn't have a 14" rim that worked on disc brakes except the rally.

As always, willing to be proven wrong...

Hmmm... gets interesting...now do we have documentation of a disc brake car (J52), and what is listed, or not listed, for wheel covers?? (the one above is a drum brake car right?)

ak

edit: i'll also go out on a limb, and wonder if theres an SD with factory dogdishes in 67...

In '67 and '68 at least, the Beaumonts got Chevy style rally wheels with their own emblem in the centre of the centre cap, when disc brakes were ordered. Personally, I like the 15 x 7 Rally II wheels like the ones we put on our '72 Lemans Sport.

the light blue one with the white stripe I sent you was a J52 disc brake 67 car with rally wheels from the factory-check it out-funny think though was the car was documented with white walls and had redlines-I know another guy with one that was documented redlines and had white letters

Emblems, or just two black circles?...

I believe the build sheet would only indicate the disc brakes as the option code. My understanding is that you only got the rally wheels if the car came with disc brakes and they were part of the disc brake package. They were required to clear the calipers.

no that was a hubcap car-15 x 7 rallys coming here from Winterpeg and centerlines prior-I had 14 x 6 rallys and redlines-not sure when the Pontiac wheels showed up-guess it musta been the dealer in Cleveland

i think in 67 and 68 when you ordered the j52 option you got the rallies, but in 69 when you ordered the j52 you didn`t get the rallies that was an extra option zj7
