I've had this car for sale for over a year on the Kijiji website spread out across Ontario and I've had close to 23,000 visits/hits not Including UsedToronto.com & UsedOttawa.com where It's advertised as well. Never had anybody come out to see it, honest. I know it's probably cheaper to buy one restored and ready to enjoy, but I'm still truly amazed at not having one person come and see it. I guess I'll have to find an earlier year small bumper car Acadian or Nova and use the shell since I prefer the earlier models, or just clone it into a 74 GTO................

Unfortunately, as you have probably figured out, a 74 Ventura doesn't seem to be high on the list of most collectors.  I just looked at the Old Cars Price Guide, even one in Number 1 Show Condition is only listed as being worth about $6,000.  I guess most people figure it just wouldn't make financial sense investing the necessary money to finish it.

nice entry level hobby car at a great price-far better than buying rust-yes the guide shows them light but we've all seen people spend twice the guide building a car.

this years market doesn't seem to make sense.

Hate to say it but even if a guy cut it up for the metal to fix a more desirable X body....

I worded that wrong. I should have said more valuable in the general market.

I happen to like Ventura like that. Only thing I would do is shorten up the bumpers.

Here's the Story on this Car. In 1999 my Buddy owned this car, he owned and operated an Autobody repair shop and was having financial troubles, I lent him some cash to keep his buisness afloat, long story short, shop went belly up and could not pay me back and he offered me this car for part payment so I took it. This was a complete driving car that he restored, less the final paint job. Went to pick-up car with trailer and on the way home with it I passed by another buddies house who was standing out front and flagged me down, I stopped and he checked car out and bought it on the spot, off the trailer it went.  He had a pal that was a automotive painter and they went out and proceeded to dismantle the car to properly prep and paint the car, they went a little overboard and they soon lost Interest. Last year I had a Chev Dually truck for sale and this same Pal that had the Ventura wanted my truck but had no cash though he said he could pay for the truck in full in a month but needed the truck right away, so I trusted and gave him the Truck, Eight months go by and not 1 red cent for a payment and I'm getting upset. I'm offered this Ventura again for Part Payment, so I take it again, Story Over. Now about the Car in Question, has some parts missing from being shuffled around over the years, ie gas tank, radiator, front bumper, driveshaft, carb, exhaust manifolds, engine pulley's,  the rest of the car is complete, have complete Front End, all glass except for windshield that was broken when they removed it for final paintwork, everything else is included that I am aware of, though car is dissasembled. Front top passenger fender is dented from something that fell on it, but repairable. I have the Ownership for the Car. Wheels on car do not go with the vehicle at the Price Listed, But Available.  Any other Questions, Please P.M. me. Thanks Guys............
