I just finished cutting out exactly those sections from the burnt 65 Nova SS I bought back in the winter. I saved them because I knew those sections are often bad on these cars.

Have you seen the write up that was in the "Nova Times" many years ago on doing exactly that project? It was an excellent article. I was always scared of that project until I read the article. It looks like not too bad a job, just very time consuming.

I would be real happy if you kept up with the photo updates as you go!

Nice work. That frame sure looks familiar. A couple just like that around our place too.

Keep it up, and keep up the pics too please.

You should teach welding courses in your spare time Bob.

Great job on the frame; a lot cleaner than what you started with.

Seems like all of those cars have those angled bumper brackets that need replacing.

Again, looking great.

It's a shame we all have other things to do in life but cars. There is lots of talent here. It would be fun to see what all would get done if we could work on our cars all the time!

Don't be scared.  They are no harder to work on than any other old car.  Just different than a frame car, that's all.
