Has anyone one used 1986 Monte Carlo disc brakes and spindles on a 64 beaumont. Stripping a Monte and think it looks alot like the beaumont. Thank's Don
It's do able,,,some key things though....it's not a bolt on.
use the 86 lower ball joint turn down ( .030" ? I'd have to double check the number) lower ball joint outer housing ( the part that friction fits into the lower a-arm) it wil then fit into the stock 64 a- arm.
bolt in the upper 86 ball joint.
use the 86 outer tire rod end.
the bump steer is close with that spindle
I believe the spindle height ( ride height ) is close.
so , since your stripping it all,,keep all teh steering gear..Idler, center link , etc.
