what I have found is I cannot get in on my pc with vista but can get in on my laptop with xp and make sure your java is enabled

So I tried to sign on tonight, and got a message that said:

"Welcome.
You have entered Chat Lobby. "

Then nothing.  What is supposed to happen next?  How can I check to see if anyone else is on-line?  Clicking any where on the chat room screen produced nothing.

Go to the bottom and in the gray coloured rectangle, type in "anyone here?" or equivalent and hit enter.
