"The odometer indicates 115,000mi but it has a combination of mi and km so actually is less than 115,000mi." I guess when the car was on Canadian Roads the odometer moved at a different speed biggrin

My brother just happens to live in Creston. I also have a friend who moved to Creston from here a few years ago, so if anyone would like it checked I have a couple of contacts there. My brother is a car nut and the friend has done detailing and repair so both are familiar with cars.

I'd presume at some point he bought one of those adapters that went inline with the speedo cable.  It made your mile speed read in kilometers.  Unfortunately it also increased the rate the odometer turned over.   I've still got one in the wraper in the garage somewhere that I bought in the late 70's or early 80's.

the car does look nice, and if I recall the interior pattern on a 68 2+2 is the same as a 68 Impala SS.
