I used to know some of the Foss family but that was years ago and I believe the dealership is owned by others now?.

Price the part # you're seeking at a few GM houses as depending on the dealership's mark-up policy and/or the Parts Manager it may be worth driving to a specific dealer to get it?.

Last I heard the business was run by Roy Foss's daughter. I bought a lot of parts from the Leaside Location and the services was very good in the Parts Department. With GM restructuring the Leaside location is now gone.

I would check with some of the bigger US dealers first. I like to support the Canadian economy, but on some bigger purchases, the price difference can be outrageous. Shipping from Canada is more expensive as well.

Todd and I had the pleasure of looking at a 62 300 H in near perfect condition a few weeks ago.
It's not for sale and I couldn't afford it if it was anyway. Still a favorite of mine. I sold my 79 300 last year. I hope to get a 50's or early 60's one someday.....
