The split window makes a come-back.

Here's your first look at the likely shape of the new C7 Corvette.

Now, that is going to be hard to ignore. I think I just felt something move. wink

Wow. I love it. I'm betting the split window doesn't make it to production, due to rear visibility problems. Unless they put in a rear view screen in dash, maybe?

Not saying it looks bad at all, just pointing out it reminds me of something the Germans already designed after WWII, especially when it is painted silver, the only colour of paint MB has apparently.

Cool but it appears there's more styling cues than just the split window of the 50's Alpha/Bertone styled 'BAT' cars?.

I was looking at more pics the other day and thought the leading edges of the front/rear have somewhat of a '67 Poncho/Batmobile look?.

If enough of us threw $500 each into a pot, we could get one. I'll volunteer to take the first three-month* turn in the driver's seat.

biggrin

* Said three-months must occur between April and October.

Well, I've always liked mid year corvette coupes (owned 4)-but leaned against the 63 partly due to Ray's comparison-I like coupes especially 65 and 66-but I like this C7 spilt window-it needs it otherwise it'll look too C6-now lets remember my opinion doesn't count for much cause I likely won't being purchasing one anytime soon.
