Factory air in 67 SD

How common was it to have factory air in a 67 Beaumont SD? Just heard about one tonight that is for sale. 396 4spd , factory air, and power windows, Factory.  tissue dispenser, 80,000 miles. Apparently wants somewhere between 30 and 35 thousand. Vancouver Island car! Seems  to me that  it must be quite rare with factory air.

i have seen one car myself and it was a 67 sd rag with a 396 and a auto m40 i think it was a 325 hp not many ac cars were biult , to bad i love ac and in a rag , sweet!

Make sure you get it documented to prove it because that would certainly add value!

A friend of mine had the cloned one that ak refers to above. It really is not that bad a job to do, about 40 hours.

Me neither. 67 was the first year according to the assembly manual I have on microfiche, and also according to the parts book.
