Acadians and Beaumonts are Canadian cars, Not Americian, Right? Are they a Pontiac Line of car or are they a GM line of Car? If you look at these cars there is no indication if they are a GM or a Pontiac. Some members at River City Classics asked? Hey big show and shine in High River Alberta today. Sept 27th 11-4 pm
Funny question most people refer to them as Canadian and Pontiac there is info on this site to try to explain They all came from "Pontiac" dealers later Acadians were built in U.S. WELCOME!!
AirCleaner, you have asked the age old question that gets a bit emotional for some!
Your observations and Carl's are bang on though. I believe there is a thread on this forum somewhere that has great detail on this subject but I searched a bit and so far can't find it.

Yup, as Carl mentioned there was a thread on this site a while back on the topic but it was "closed for discussion". I think it was suggested to leave the topic alone and not to speculate as there's no 100% proof to either side of the coin so it remains a mystery...
Here's some reading on the subject on another site that some of us are on as well. Click Here
Well Gentlemen thank you for the helpwith my query. I guess it will always be clear as mud. Who ever was at the High River shine and left the Canadian Poncho card in my car, sorry I missed you, it would have been nice to have met you.

This owner spent a lot of money on a professional display telling the world his Car is a 1966 PONTIAC Beaumont.
I see my response was deleted. Is this a standard response, Deputy Moderator? It wasn't even negitive.
See the line where it says deputy moderator, that's where he deleted, " what's your point". Why would he say somebody spent money on advertisement. I'ts out of place?
