On the way to Carlisle I stopped at a Chevy Dealer in Mechanicsburg.I walked through the Cash For Clunkers lot.About forty vehicles with clunker marked on them.Not a damn One that I wouldn't drive!! Lots of pick ups,vans a '98 Eldorado,mostly fullsize vehicles.Now they have to be crushed so the people that really need a ride and don't have much money have lost the chance to buy these ones. The whole plan looks Retarded to me.The dealer also had a big banner that said BUY AMERICAN when most of the trucks were from the MEXICO Plant.I told him no more were coming from OSHAWA!! He didn't know.

I can not see one good point out of the clunker program from what I've read....
