Up until now we thought that 66grandguy's find could possibly be one of the last 409's made by GM on either side of the border, this car trumps that one by a mile. Can we safely say now that a Canadian Poncho got the last production 409 car made by GM?
PS: When I was a kid my Dad and I made a 65 Pontiac, it was an AMT kit but Dad painted it in that exact combo, black with red guts.Hard Combo to beat!
Vince , you dog! Did you know about this last week? Now you can say you're the only guy that has actually laid eyes on that last two made (we know of so far)
Oh well, we'll settle for second last! Great find! Buy It or let me. We could use a pair!
This also seems to reinforce the theory that GM of Canada made them well after Detroit stopped.

Very, very cool. (These shots just reminded my of the fake sheepskin covers that came with my car when I bought it 28 years ago. Hadn't crossed my mind since I threw them out the day after I bought it...) Thanks for sharing.
