Love that car Earl, that intake is so sweet looking too. I think that it is safe to say these are a real collector car. I am sure there are a few on Board who will describe it as an unmitigated disaster like they did the XLR, but this car is pure class.  biggrin

Geez, does this mean I have to pull the trigger on that Black '64 Sedan Deville to even it up with you Earl? I'm sitting with only a Deville and a Fleetwood. cry

I remember it Carl. One of my favorites for sure. Both the actress and the car have faded from a lot of people's minds.

I believe she has had some tough times, health wise. Too bad. I always thought it was excellent the way she portrayed Kelly. I think she was the one for the job.

Oh, and I have always like Allantes, nice car, love the interior.

As usual were are hijacking this Cadillac thread.

Christina Applegate unfortunately was diagnoised with breast cancer. On August 19, 2008 it was announced that she was cancer free after a double mastectomy. She was given the all clear following the operation and underwent reconstructive surgery.

Here is a memorable photo from her Kelly Bundy days.

No. I've previously owned 2.I have 3 Cadi's 1 90 Allante, 1 01 DTS, and 1 '66 Deville convertible.  Sold the other Allante's before I bought this one.
Does anyone know of a hardtop for one of these cars for sale?

Earl,

If you or Todd hadn't bought it, I would have instead of the Bonneville. My wife would love that car.

Enjoy. smile

I'll ask on my Cadillac Board, a number of Allante guys over there. How far away are you willing to go?

Thanks Bob. took it out for a spin today. It's been sitting for quite awhile since it was traded in at a GM store in Woodstock last year. The brakes were re-done over the winter, but has sat all summer. The muffler is rattleing so i know it needs to be replaced. other than that it rides very nice. The  rubber mouldings, etc are all great so no wind whistles like my other 2 Allantes.
