Let us know how it goes in Bonneville. I agree, it would be a great experience just to be there and see the stuff that runs.

Got home from a week away and my carb kit for the '56 was there. Put it back together, installed in the car and it fired right up. Tomorrow will go for a good road test.
Finally finished one of the sets of wheels I bought from rabbit64cs. Built a jig using an old furnace motor and wheel hub to spin them. Started sanding at 120 and finished at 1500 wet. polished with high speed and rouge. Bead blasted centers, light coat of primer. Finished with Stainless Steel paint. Turned out pretty well
yes show us your home made spinner! pulled out the spare HB engine for my vava and tore it apart painted it chevy orange tuff to get parts for pulled the viva out of the back car barn and cleaned it up brought it up front after near 5 yrs imported by PONTIAC LOL
I drove one of those when they were new (before I was old enough to have a license). A nice little car when no one wanted little cars, plus it was British and didn't like winter.

A friend had one back in high school.
We did a big burn out in front of the school one day ... he rev'd it up and I shot a CO2 extinguisher underneath from the passenger side. Fooled just about everyone.
