Probably just a pain in the neck and shoulders for you.
mostly the wallet price of plywood good one side (or should I say bad on one side and worse on the other) is just gone crazy but no way I will use that chip board
We had a bit of a nor-easter here, so it was a good day for indoor painting (even though I hate it). After I shovel out the driveway, back to painting again.

detailing the "Wagoon's" engine bay !!!! Found a almost destroyed distributor rotor, & cap on removal, glad I found it now, surely would have left me at side of road very soon after the driving season started. Have the wagon all safetied but not plated until April.
On the Impala side of garage, have pulled the rear end pot, fixed leak, replaced the rear springs with 409 wagon coils, added "air' shocks pulled out the dash, repaired the speedo head, & gave it a cleaning. Removed original AM radio & installed a 'retro" fit AM/FM, repaired "loose console" while seats are out, & repainted strg. column. Dash is ready to go back in.
Ok, I was wondering. I've seen at our shop where they have the sliding pin seized, clean it all up and lube it good but it comes back a month or two later with the pin seized again. Figured I better mention it.
Glad you could save some money and not need a caliper.
For some reason I find doing brake jobs very rewarding.
A little slow on the uptake. The slide on the brakes in the Jetta are in a bracket. That is what was replaced. Yep, the GM ones the slide is in the caliper.

That drywall lift is coming in handy ... next you'll installing transmissions with it (just out of curiosity, what is it's lifting capacity?)

First day of sun in about 60 days!!!!! We had 24 days in a row of rain in Jan!!! Out came the sun....out came the cars!! Son(James) washed and chamois'd them all. Cleaned the shop and got a few more outside jobs done! Boy that 57 looks like a big beast against a Canso!
Haha, nope! Just ordered my repro hump yesterday. I don't want to cut the hole until I get the hump in my hand and test fit it. I'm told it's only a facsimile and I will need to rework it a bit. I have an original hump on loan for the test fitting to get the hole in the right spot. I want to reshape the repro to fit the same as the OE hump and then OUT COMES THE SAW!!!

Looks like you need to bring the lawnmower out too. I have used up a tank of fuel in the tractor blowing snow already and winter is only half over
And all we've had is cold. I have a 3 point hitch blower for my little diesel 4wd and the blower is still sitting where I parked it when I got ready in the fall. I've put the blade on the tractor twice and done about 15 minutes of pushing with the blade. Lots of dirt showing in the yards still.

Dirt? You mean there might be dirt down beneath all that white stuff? I've just about worn my snowblower out this year. Need to do a mid-season oil change anyway.
We finally saw the sun too, but unfortunately it brought cold temps and now there's 2 inches of ice on the driveway. Fortunately, "cold" here is only about -15, which is still a warm winter day in SK/MB.
