Next year when Teen Challenge has their demo derby here (literally in my back yard!) all the vehicles in the derby are going to be mini vans!

Swapped the crap Carter carb in my 88 Jeep with a Motorcraft 2150. Swap went fairly smooth. Jeep runs ok but seems a little down on power. From what I've read timing will need to be adjusted. Still a few odds and ends to deal with. I have a new air cleaner on order and also need a proper crankcase breather. I also went with a manual choke

Oh man that's sad. Ash used to be the "safe" tree.

Time to plant maples?

Or cottonwood if you don't mind some fuzz. They grow fast enough that you will still be able to enjoy them.

What's the saying? "There's never a wrong time to plant a tree but you'll wish you had done it 20 years ago". This doesn't really apply in your case but I always smile when I hear that.

I have been keeping busy with projects now that the wagon is pretty much done. We purchased this old tired car hauler off a friend of mine knowing it was tired. It was a little worse than expected but with some love and lots of work form family and friends its better than new.

Once the trailer was done it was time to clean up the ratty old lean to shelter and build something attractive.

Next is a super sale at Rockton swap meet to purge the stash and then I can see what I can get into next evileye

ive been neglecting our living situation because of weather and time constraints, plus ill admit it, I was playing with the new resident , I need all vehicle to be mobile, but yesterday I got too it again replace a rotten 2/6 with a new pressure treated piece , covered the torn apart side with felt paper to make her weather tight, and got ambitious finally installing the big window in our bath room. the main reason I needed light and I didn't want to do it if it got real could, good thing too I woke up to 4 inches of wet snow this morning.
