It has to be a GM piece, not a repro? I see lots of repros for sale.

The one in the block is for PCV. I think that went until the end of 1967?

Yup...not sure on year? Before that was a draft tube. You can plug it with a frost plug if running off the valve cover.

Neat. Never knew that. My 62 Comet had the draft tube at the engines front.

There is an original one sitting on the floor in the back ground of picture. I have a number of in takes, the one on the engine was the cleanest

Guess I won't be asking if you want to part with one of your L79 intakes Kevin!

All my vintage intakes, the oil fill tube leaned to drivers side. Road draft tube disappeared in 63 with a connection to the carb base and pcv.

Sorry, no dome Kevin. Keeping it mild. Just 2 valve reliefs instead of 4 for a +5 piston head volume.

Should still give me 9.4:1, @ .023 in the hole, .028 gasket, 64 cc chamber. It's amazing how cheap these standard bore Hypereutectic pistons have become...

How much in the hole are you Carl?..I mean the piston lol! Looks pretty flat.
