Some progress with my ongoing Buick saga. I took apart my Snap on MT-2500 scanner and found a bit of corrosion on one of the terminals where the data cable plug is soldered to the PCB. I cleaned it up as it looked like it could be causing a short across the circuit board and resoldered the terminal where it started. Not sure if it's a fluke or not but it worked when I hooked it up to the Buick.
Did a little maintenance on my 26 year old home made utility trailer. Adjusted the bearings which were slightly loose. Replaced them and the seals last year, the hubs and spindles are 1974 Gremlin bolt on type, (bolted to my DIY axle). They are Ford pattern, which was nice as I had a pair of 15" Lincoln LSC wheels, which have worked perfect and looked nice since so long ago. The big wheels and hubs are miles ahead of those little trailer wheels and tires.
Replaced a broken marker light and some missing side panel bolts. lubed the leaf springs. Gave her a wash.
All the maintenance is for a upcoming trip to Gaspe' hauling our latest ATV. Did a trial "Fit" of the toy, it has about 1.5" to spare either side on the tires. Machine is 48" wide. Like a glove as they say!
The little emblem on the bottom right of the gate...it's a old Park Avenue emblem with the P broken off. "ark Avenue"
Dug out our old trailer that was intended for a little sailboat. Made sure the bearings, tires etc were good. Made some slight changes so our sit on kayak would fit. Pulled it about 10 miles with the car to make sure all was good.
Hoping this coming week we'll get some opportunities to put the kayak to use.
The water levels around here are getting back to normal finally.
Ever since I bought the barn there has been a trailer parked in one of the rooms. The owners were elderly and lived in the US and couldn't get here thanks to Covid. They finally decided to sell the trailer so the buyers recently moved it out.
Today I installed two of those Amazon LED garage lights into the only existing fixture (the ones that take two spotlight). Now that I can see in there I can get things cleaned up and repair some damaged wood at the back. I also have my two wounded
90's vehicles in there. The Buick is awating the PROM from the US and my truck's new starter has terrible heat soak issues. I'm going to remove it this afternoon and see if I can exchange it for a Delco. I'll double check all the wiring to make sure it's ok too.

Mahone Bay, NS Still not old enough to need an automatic
There was about a stock 2007 Ford Ranger next to me, no picture though. A Pacer is more interesting than a Ranger? There was a 63 Bubbletop there, the only other x frame, and a 57 Chevy 2 door post I dont recall seeing another full size GM. There were about 3-400 vehicles.
