That building in the background was the Headquarters of Knob Hill Farms, owned by the late Steve Stavro. That site has now been redeveloped with a Wal-Mart as the anchor store and many national chain stores.
To the right on the same side as the dealership was the site of GM Canada Scarborough Van Plant, now redeveloped with big box stores, restaurants and a Cineplex. Canadian Tire would be one of the anchors, along with Old Navy. There is also a huge Toronto Transit Commission garage and repar facility on the south end of the old GM plant with a Rona and a Lowes to the east side.
Golden Mile is long gone too. The Rowntree family owned the dealership but has since errected an enormous Toyota dealership on that site.

East to the left, West to the right.
Golden Mile was to the exact right of the plant not totally seen in photo.

DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY INFO OR TAGS FROM LYNN WOOD CHEVROLET OLDSMOBILE LTD. CALGARY AB. THEY ARE THE DEALER LISTED FOR MY '69 2+2. I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER HEARD OF THEM.
Geoff thanks for making that request to Fred Jenner ! Sorry I missed your post last November after you made that request, many thanks !! Wonder if he kept his books from 67, would love to find the original invoice for my car too even though I do have the protecto plate and more docs as well ??
The Calvert Motors emblem on the back of that 66 Parisienne is from Calvert Motors in Iroquois Falls, Ont ( up near Timmins ) I've discussed this car with one of the members on here. We know of the original owner but unfortunately he is deceased.
