Pretty serious battle between some folk. They don't all seem to think the plant staying open would be a positive thing.
Ouch, no I hadn't read the comments until you mentioned it. Tough times, lot's of emotions. One of the things that I noticed in the article was that 1 of 4 employees was a manager? Seems like a pretty high ratio. (PS Hoping you recieved the envelope from Edmonton?)

My interpretation of the 800 union jobs to 200 management jobs is that 200 are non union jobs, not necessarily managers or supervisors. It is pretty typical language when referring to a unionized environment in a union friendly environment. For example, engineering staff, payroll staff, accounting staff, administrative staff are typically not in the union in these situations, just production workers.
All of my cars have either Michelin or BFG tires on them. I know there is a huge warehouse in Hamilton, do they make any products here in Canada?
