Mickey if you change the springs, to raise it up, you will want to put taller tires to make it look correct. is the red car yours? I thought yours was blue.. lol

Do "you" want it to look, like the red car ?? If you do, you need to add big block air conditioning springs in front, and perhaps air bags in rear It is imortant that "you" decide how you want it to "sit" 427carl
you may find this kind of funny but ill tell all anyways! When we wanted the ass end in the air,and we did all the time in the old days we would put a spring from the front of another car inside the rear spring and install! UP SHE GOES,in with a big tire,N50-15s back then and no rubbing! better than air shocks and cheap! timbuk
so thats what modern tech looks like how much is that air bag setup? nice ventura, had a 73 omega with a hatchback and a 350 rocket 3 years ago....love those nova bodies!
this is mine before i lowered the rear 1". The rear springs were apparently from a full size wagon, front springs are stock... it may be hard for you to find these parts in chile, you may want to consider using a a spring spacer like this one in the link, and its adjustable, so you can find the height you like...
I imgine those spacers fit in the top of the spring perch so you wouldnt see them... I had 275/60/15 on the rear on 8" rims, and 245/60/15 front on 7" rims... the 275 would it in the rear in the wheelwell if you chose to lower the car, to fit the 295's you may need to roll the rear 1/4 panel wheelwells... but you would not need to do this if the rear end is high up... if the rear end is too soft and bounces too much you could use coilover springs to stiffen it or the air bags. I used a single air bag on the passenger side rear for traction, with the back end up wheel hop/traction can become an issue.
The bottom of my springs,(66 Bbody) have a flat plate and bolt through to hold spriing in place.. You install the spacer on the bottom, with a longer bolt..
Any one remember those ones back in the 70's from Canadian tire, I had on my 68 back then. They were a tube with a flat washer on top and a cup, a bolt went threw the centre. You cut the tube to the size of lift You needed. Simple but worked.

66 spring perches are different than 67... i also think that 68-69 rear springs are different than 67.... I tried my brothers 68 springs in my car and i lowered it about 1" lower than stock...
mickey, same goes here for my old springs from my 67, you could have them... i dont have plans to go to chile soon...
