59 Parisienne carpet

Hello guys

I'm looking for the new carpet for my 59 Parisienne, but I couldn't find anything similar to it here in Brazil. My car's trim is 918 (grey & ivory), so I suppose the carpet is dark grey.
The problem is that I found a few pictures of some 59s with original carpets and they seem to have some silver lines in it. Does anyone knows where can I find this specific type of carpet?
I appreciate any help! biggrin

A few examples of carpets that I suppose to be the same kind I need:

I sent e-mails to NOS and a few other places, and I found out that the "trinidad carpet" (with silver flecks) was discontinued and is no longer available anywhere. hmm
I think I'll have to buy the carpet without it, that doesn't seem to be bad at all. Do you think it would make a big difference?

I told it was a Pontiac, but it seems this kind of carpet was discontinued and isn't available anywhere, is unavailable in USA too.

sorry its true Trinadad carpet with the silver fleck was dicontinued about a year ago. It surprises me that it was found in a Canadian GM of that vintage. Gm started molding the rears only in 58,59,& 60. Triadad product was not moldable,. so 59 usually is made of 80/20 loop or Tuxedo loop.

thanks; Dale @ NOS

ps; don't order a US pontiac; it won,t fit!!Order a Chevrolet

sure trinidad carpet wasn't available in canadian GM?
I receiveid an e-mail from Kris of NOS suggesting me this tuxedo with black fleck or 80/20 loop style. Which of these two is the most similar to the original of the 59 parisenne? And is there any significant quality difference between the two? Which one is better?

Thanks!!smile

the tuxedo looked like a little darker grey than the 80/20.

The tuxedo with black fleck:

I was going to suggest using the most common "in stock" carpet, but since you will probably not to need to replace it again,  choose the carpet  YOU like

Hello!
Luckily I found a similar carpet a few days ago, so I won't have to import one!
The freight would be way too expensive to buy it in Canada...
