What are these emblems off of?

I've got a couple of emblems that came out of an assorted box that I don't know what kind of a car they are for.  The number on the Acadian emblem is 3392745 and the V8 emblem is 3393918.  Thanks.

Nope, not a '62, the front grille emblem is a solid plate.

Thanks guys, looks like we've got it pegged to a 63 Acadian.  Guess I will probably offer them for sale first of all to somebody who may be missing one for their car.  Thanks again for the quick feedback.

The "A" with tri-leaf emblem is from a '66 or '67 Acadian Invader or Canso trunk. It was at the back edge of the lid before it drops. Post the part# to be sure and I'll look it up.
The V8 is as stated, '67 Beaumont, '67 Acadian Invader or Canso, and '67 full size Pontiac.

This is a shot of a cherry '66 Laurentian.

IMG_5141.JPG

My first shot was a '66 Parisienne and the Beaumont was a 67.

I'll go to the archives and see if I can find an example of this V8 on a '67 Full size.

The number is shown at the beginning of the thread.  Thanks for the effort.

Here is a 67 Parisienne, so we can now state that the V8 emblem queried in this post was used on 1966 Full size and not 67's per previous erroneous post above.

I think that the term Ponitac is widely understood to mean B body or Full size and Beaumont is widely understood to be A body or Mid-sized, Acadian likewise is understood to be a compact car, all sold and marketed by Pontiac in Canada.

The V8 emblem in question was used only on 1966 Full Sized cars sold by Pontiac and also on 1967 mid sized and compact cars sold by Pontiac.

Does that just about cover it ? biggrin

I have to try and find my Beaumont Acadian parts book... But anyways, in the full size book, here they are. This is an old book but in the newer one I have, they are N.L.A.

This was always my least favorite abbreviation for GM parts!!! (No Longer Available)

My '66 Canso had this V8 emblem, it was on the '65 Canso and I think it was on the '65 full size Pontiac as well.  :

IMG_5193.JPG

I dug out the parts book. The A emblem isn't off the trunk of the '66 or '67 Canso although it sure looks like it (part# is 5728438).  I can't find the grille emblem from the '63-'64 Acadian in my book.....
The V8 is from the '67 Acadian and Beaumont. I was pretty sure they were on the full size Pontiacs too....

I have a 63 Acadian grille. I didn't remove the emblem but it does look identical to the one pictured.
