Bonus (Lounge only)

I have been told not to send "Political stuff", so this is for the "Lounge only"    If you don't like it   move on!  lol  ....   I got a bonus every year. I had to wait until the year passed, and then 6 months to get it  lol   started at 5000 and ended at 3900 16 years later ... Basic pay was same during the 16 years  lol

The problem with these &%^holes is after they have our 2-3 Million and a pension of their own they don't need to worry about creditability.Do you guys know if you have a company Pension plan that the amount you recieve from this plan  is reduced by what you recieve from the Canada pension plan. Eg your company pension is worth $1500 and your CPP entitlement is $600 you company pension will be $900 and you will get the $600 from CPP.

Don't get me started ... it is WAY worse down here south of your border ... I looked to see where I could emigrate to that was not so f#^%!d up and the only place I could find was Australia and they are smarter than all of us, they do not allow immigration.

Well folks, I worked hard all my working days & retired 2yrs. ago & all I get is CPP. Whenever the word "pension" or benifits " were brought up, they threatened to close the doors. These A &^%holes in Ottawa & Queens Park haven't a clue what it's like in the real world & if they did work there, they wouldn't last 2min. before being shown the door!!!! But they sure know how to "belly up to the trough" & pig out, at our expense. It seems they think we have endless cash in our pockets, & everyone gets a "sweet pension" maybe some day they get their heads out of their #$$ & see what's going on outside their world!!!  Thare I feel much better now that's off my chest,  Pete

How about taking your hourly wage subtract taxes, cpp, taxable benifits ect and see what you really make now take that portion of your original "dollar" which is probably going to be 50-70 cents and now buy gas, milk, bread ect. Remembering that the whole "dollar" we are using is only a percentage of our original before Tax income. We still live in the Greatest Country we don't freeze to death in the winter, nobody is bombing our bussiness' or schools BUT we are really taxed to Death Period

the last part of the article  states  (Canada Pension Plan and Canada Post) "Both organizations also point out, they have to compete with private sector companies to attract top talent"   Are they sure, there are not smart men, out there, who could do a better job?    I can think of several HERE  lol

It's rumored that CPP will be bankrupt when us babyboomers will need to avail of this pension, I've been paying into it for 27 years

I wouldn't sweat it. That rumour was around when I was a teen. And that is just over 30 years.
