Randy Miles from B.C. finally has his 1965 Acadian Beaumont L79 Convertible finished. 

Randy & I have emailed each other for the past several years talking about how rare the L79 Beaumonts are. When he told me he had a Convertible, I told him that of the 23 L79's built in 65 his car was the only convertible out of the 6 that are still known to exist. To verify what he said he emailed me the GM documentation which verifies it as a true L79.

You really have to see this car in person to appreciate...   I had the chance to see Randy's car in Edmonton on Father's Day at the Church on 99 car show.

That was the highlight of the show for me.

Looks nice Randy, you lucked out when you found that one. Hopefully the numbers matching running gear was still intact too. That's what you call the crown jewel. Interesting color change but it would of looked great as a teal car too. Those beaumonts have nice lines no matter what.
