Was at the wreckers today and noticed this four door 69-72 Olds cutlas .Not sure what year, the cowl tag was gone. This is behind the back seat. Not sure what it is. Noticed it because it was shiny
It has to do with the emissions stuff. My Lemans has it as well. There are 3 lines from the gas tank that leas to it, then one runs to the charcoal canister..... I think the name has EEG or something in it. I will look it up shortly here.............

yup; has to do with emissions. Not sure of purpose but could check with one of my Cutlass buddies. Showed up in the 71 or 72 cars. Trunk floor between the wheel wells was stamped to provide a space for the channel. Dale @ NOS
