Hard trim to Find

Here are a couple of pictures for Marty who is looking for these. I found them impossible to get off without twisting off the little diecast nibs that hold them on.

I think Carl is saying that Chip, being the talented artist that he is, would use an air brush and paint to make it look like there were gills.

Personally, I think he would take blocks of brass and sandpaper. He would remove all the parts that weren't gills and then have the pieces chromed. LOL

if my mold making techniques work for me.. I could make a mold of one of them and then cast them in pewter.. are they popular?

Those trim pieces came on all models of Parisienne so they arent rare. They are hard to find in good shape though as they were in a really exposed spot and were pot medal.  The ones I sent to Marty were the best from two cars that I had and I dont think more than two or three still had intact attachment nibs.  There are probably lots to be had at Aldon Auto parts in Lamont as they have quite a few 66s but getting them off in one piece is not easy.

I dont have any more myself

Hope that helps
