1968 283 HP


1967 Parisienne. My decal is missing on the air cleaner for the HP. I go looking and Im confused as to what is the hp for 283 2 brrl carb wuth a 2 speed trany. Is it 195 or 155 hp. Also where is the best place to get parts for for a parisienne?

It would be a 195 horse.

Can you be more specific with which parts?

Body, mechanical, trim?

I'd be interested too I have the same car/same motor.. he is correct mine says 195hp.

not to get off topic but does anyone know the differance between the 195 hp 283 and the 210 hp 283 that is offered in 1966?

195 HP are two barrels and the 210 or chevy 220 HP are 4 barrels.

I think you are correct Carl  195 or 220 HP no 210 hp. The only thing in the chevy by the numbers with 210 hp is the 327 two barrel. Unless Pontiac had something .
