My 1970 Bonneville convertible parts car Gone !

IMG_1364.JPG  She went to the scrap metal recycling bin yesterday, when one of my neighbor picked it up with his bobcat forklift and threw it in his trailer the frame halfway fell off the body, that's how bad it was rusted out, i manage to save almost everything on that car except the cracked windshield, swiss cheese frame and rusted out body. Parts of that car helped some of our members (A big thanks to them ! It will fund my project), the 370 HP 455 4 bolt main engine is gonna get rebuild at SD Performance of Chilliwack BC and reside in a 1968 Pontiac Firebird race car in Edmonton AB, the new owner said he's putting a set of ported 1971 round port 197 heads form another 455.  Some guy from the states on Ebay told me they only made about 200 1970 Bonneville convertible with the options this one had, too bad the previous owner drove it year round and let it rot parked in tall grass . . . Time to find more Poncho parts cars !

Needs body work ie. trunk pan, driver side quarter panel, front floor pans and probably more hidden surprise, mechanical, restoration slowly going. The original color is Anaconda gold , some day it won't be red anymore ... I will probably be in the red ! LOL !

I understand all that, only thing not done yet is quarter panel!!!  At least yours is together to start with, mine came in pcs and boxes for the most part!!!  Mine is on hold til after Christmas for the "red" reason........ sniff.gif
