I sure am glad I found this site!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I have been a diehard poncho fan since I was 16 growing up in Niagara Falls, Ontario. In fact, I still own my first car, a 1967 2+2 Parisienne Convertible.  I took it over from my older brother, who bought it as his first ride in 1972.  I vowed that I would never sell it.  I have owned it now for over 31 years.

I have been fixing this car up since high school auto shop and I continue to make improvements to its appearance and chassis.  This winter I am going to update some of the chassis components like brakes, suspension.

So, I look forward to getting your help and advice.

Here are some pics of my baby

Regards,
Joe.

We sre glad you found us too. Great car and great story!

My cousin lives in Niagara Falls, he had a red '65 Custom Sport back in the day, he had that car into the mid seventies, lived off Drummond Rd. between Lundy's Lane and the Highway. Ever see it?

I love the car.  If it was mine , I would add some color to the wheels/rims    I used to sell wheels and rims  wink  Rallys with white letter or red line would brighten up the green (wish I could photo shop a example for you)  lol    heres a photo or two of mine in 81     Did I say, I loved the car?

I love the colour of yours.  Works really well with the white ragtop.  I agree with your rim observation.  I plan on putting some nice shiny shoes on the car this coming spring.

Do you know if your former 2+2's are still alive and well!  Mine had the same spoke hubcaps wheels as the one in your bottom picture.  Unfortunately, the road salt really did a number on them.

Joe

As I said before, I love the color of yours, and the wheels are easy to give your/our cars a  makeover    The wire wheel covers, you see in that photo, are the "original ones" off the  Beaumont  "Holy Grail"  SD red convertible....  I want 10,000.00 for them  wink
