I'm not really supposed to be on here- Connie is in the other room! I woke up in -3 temps this morning and at 3:40pm I landed to 30 degree temps. It's absolutely beautiful here. The friends we are staying with have a swampy area behind their property. While sitting on their porch I watched an Iguana climb out of the water. I've seen several tropical birds including "Whistling Ducks" - yes, ducks that whistle. There's banana and coconut trees in the yard. I really think I should not come home and run a Caribbean chapter of Canadian Poncho. I'll try to sneak some photos up throughout the week.

BTW it's "cooled off" to 28 biggrin

Thanks for the update. Calgary is now -29 with the windchill. There was 3 feet of snow to shovel in front of my garage this week-end. I spent an hour packing down the snow in our little bay so everyone (daughter and the missus) could get in and out. The big truck has some value at times like this.
Hope the entire trip is like magic for you.

last time i went on a trip(miami) I emailed my boss and quit,,,,and have stayed stress free ever since,lol......Have a great time u guys! You deserve it, enjoy it and smile!
