Hello All,, I'm about to order seat skins for my 70 a-body. I'm looking for input as to what the group has had success with , and NOT. PUI vs Legendary vs ???
I have no experience in this ,, I have only replaced carpets before, never seat skins. ( I usually buy a complete parts car for it's minty interior LOL !! )
whatever I buy , it will have to get shipped , as I'm in the middle of SASK, not much other than RPM in Saskatoon to buy directly from. They carry PUI. I'd like to stay north of the border.

i bought seat covers and door panels from pui the door panel had cuts on the edge were it was wrapped around, pui said it was good when it left so i was s--t out of luck, the side panels for the back seat took 3 months to come in,so i'm debating weather i should take them or not. i would not recommend them at all!
I have PUI covers on both my wagons and both my convertibles. The end product after alot and I mean alot( 3 or 4 times trying with them) before they got it right with quality, color etc..In the end it was a total pain in the a..s,but I am happy the way they turned out-but then again it cost me 3-4 times as much because of their errors and poor quality control.I have a few more cars to build and I WILL NOT BE USING THEIR PRODUCT-PUI is really really hard to deal with-seems like they just don't care about what they send out.I was very lucky that the dealer I dealt with here in Winnipeg took great care of me.I had purchased a set of PUI door panels from OPG for my 69 wagon and the heat pressed design and chrome mylar tape all came apart-when I inquired to OPG to send them back and get them replaced -he told me that" I own them and that was that" Needless to say I haven't ordered anything else from OPG and never will again.
I am watching this thread with great interest. Will have to do my interior in the future. Looks like PUI have poor quality control. That pic that 64sc showed is like nite and day in quality.
well,, cost wise , the legendary interior is $100 more the front buckets and back seat. funny thing is , when I inquired locally, the owner just ordered PUI for his 70 GTO, he has had no issue with them , sold a ton of them ,and is happy enough that he is buying PUI for his own car.
that pic I found on chevelle.net, same topic as here, same feedbck as here.
I guess I just need to call NOS repro to find out who there supplier is ?
I'm still price shopping.

The tubing on my PUI fell apart and after getting a Lengendary interior from Bud I will never buy a PUI again. The Lengendary interiors are much nicer.

In my opinion you are going to forget so quickly $100 if it's an interior that you are happy with in comparison to one which may have a couple little things that you know are not quite right. You have to remember this is as important as paint, it's something you see everytime you are in that car or someone else even glances at it. I just don't think it's the place to scimp out.
