That 69 front end doesn't take kindly to being bumped around does it?
It's very delicate.

The early urethane was prone to cracking. My 69 nose is in good shape but even it has a few hairline cracks in the paint surface. Most I've seen are completely gone - big chunks out of them sometimes.

The nose cone was the first part I had to replace on my 69. I paid big bucks on Ebay for a good one..

It's actually the metal bumper itself that I find delicate, one small hit anywhere along its length and the alignment seems to go out of whack.
