Saginaw vs Muncie value

Hi again. My original and first post to this site was really overwhelming in the response that I received. Thanks a lot.Sooooooo, part of my first post that kind of fell through the cracks was a question about if the car would be worth more if it had a Muncie originally or if I replaced the Saginaw with a Muncie now, would it be worth more or less. Not that I'd ever sell it but it would be interesting to get some knowledgeable opinions.

not significant-depend on the buyer-its a four speed thats what matters

If its working well with either, you normally couldn't tell, what was in car...

Agree.... It's an original 4 gear, documented. I personally don't think Muncie or Saginaw affect the value.

My 2 cents

value of the car is best with original trans, but DRIVING a muncie over a saginaw is heaven. I've had several of both, night and day.

The close ratio heavy duty Muncie 4 speed (M22 I think?) is the only one that used to command more of a premium around here. Especially in a Corvette.

Muncie is a better transmission hands down. But if it didn't come with the car origonally, then I'd leave the scrapinaw if you are trying to keep it as close as possible to what it was born with.

Sags are fine with an upgraded hurst shifter, the low line gm shifters do not help the sags feel. I've hammered both muncies and sags... And missed shifts in both!! If I was
buying it would be a muncie or a Borg and if I was going all out tremec
