can't help ya-but might be able to help someone else-I have a brand new trunk decal from McCollum Pontiac in St. Catharines Ontario that could easily be scanned and reproduced.
It was Jim Pattison Pontiac Buick on Main St. I think the cross street was 25th. That was his first dealership. I might have some literature with that stamp on it.
My best buddies brother used to work there, think he was bus. manager there, retired now!!! Can see if we can in touch if need be for more info??? Pete

I worked for Jimmy for 18 years up untill 99 at one of the Toyota stores, the main street store was at 18th and main and I'm pretty sure that sticker was white with red letters and blue surround, you might get a hold of corporate office and see if there was any of the main street memmorabilia left hanging around

I remember going to that dealership with my dad in 63 when he was looking to buy an Acadian station wagon. The sales guy was your cliche' white shoes fast talking hack, so dad went to Plimleys Chrysler Plymouth and bought a Valiant wagon.

I wonder if he didn't have a few salesman like that. Wasn't he the one that implemented the policy that the poorest salesman each month got the axe? Funny a friend of mine in town is married to one of his daughters. I think he should start apprenticing to be a millionare.

Yeah, that was his policy. I don't think they were at all performance car oriented. I remember Kirkpatrick Pontiac Buick on Broadway and Oak having lots of performance stuff though, as well as Conroy in West Van.
UPDATE; I found a pic (ARTIST DRAWING)of what jim patterson buick on main street looked like in 65 my friend found it tonite he will send it to me in the morning then i will post it but hey i still need all i can find so keep to it thanks 65s/d

Yes I did, Tony was the guy who hired me back in 84 was one of the nicest guys I ever worked for till they moved him actually I think he went to main street for a while then over to metro Victoria as head of the auto group, Funny thing is now I think his son Jeff is running the new Toyota store in Surrey

I know Tony Raybould, he was a Great guy to work for. He's now retired and spends his winters in Palm Springs. He lives just down the road from me in Cobble Hill, on Vancouver Island.

Jimmy owns sinatra's old place in palm springs, and I know when our GM retired over here part of his package was the full use of it anytime he went down there, wonder if Tony got the same deal?

He said he had bought a condo somewhere in palm springs, of course it has a golf course in the complex. LOL. They gave him a new 2007 Decked out Tundra for a retirement gift when he retired in 2007.
