I purchased the nova mini subframe kit which includes upper and lower tubular control arms. I got the kit in black and I selected the modified lower arms which can be used with the Church Boys Racing rack and pinion steering setup (planning for the future).
I'll get this kit installed this spring so I can at least have some confidence driving this car again. Next to be purchased will be 2" dropped spindles, 13" big brake kit, and finally the 17 and 18 inch Torque Thrusts I've wanted for like 4 years. Enough dreaming, time to get this project moving along.
Hey Joel, make room in that garage of yours........were putting this front end kit on in the spring.

1962-67 Nova MINI Sub-Frame Kit
Eliminating the factory strut rods and adding adjustable forward control arm mounts, this kit adds stability, improved steering response and better ground clearance. Featuring a one-piece 1-1/4" 120 wall DOM tubular lower control arm, simple bolt-in 1/4" thick steel crossmember, two adjustable forward control arm mounts (same as rear) and CPP's low friction, long-life bushings. The one-piece crossmember ties both frame rails together by bolting in where the factory strut rod mount was located, providing additional strength and 2" of ground clearance. There is no cutting or welding required. A deluxe kit is available and includes upper control arm bushings, upper ball joints, lowered coil springs, spring perches and gas charged shocks. Sway bars are also available.
Kevin, from what I've heard there's no better fix for the stock frontend. I also may do just the LCA kit like Carl, if my frontend doesn't work out. As far as garage space, I'll keep you posted... mine still has a long way to go but maybe we can sneak it in.
Alot of owners have said this kit is the best money spent on their car. I only drove the 67 for 1 month early this past summer, too many close calls in traffic so I pulled the plates. The last trip home was very sketchy (terrible bump steer, alignment issues, white knuckle momments) so I'll have to be very cautious when I drive it to get the kit installed. Morris isn't looking like a trip I would feel safe making Carl, but I invite you to be there for the install to see what it's all about.
Even though I bought the lower and upper kit, I'll only install the lowers this spring. I'll install the uppers when I get new stock height V8 springs, 2" drop spindles, and the brake kit. The lowers are fairly straight forward installation wise and will get me back on the road at least. The lowers should fix 90% of the issues, unless my steering box is shot
If you and Carl are interested in helping me out with the install and get an idea of the improvement it makes, I'll gladly help if you guys decide to install the same. Hey and we would be pro's by the 2nd and 3rd install.
I am looking forward to hearing about all of the installation and the improvements to the drivability because I bought the lower kit as well. It sounds like it helps these cars out greatly. I know of a car in Calgary that has the full kit and QA1 coilovers and the owner claims it to have fixed all the drivability issues.
