We bought a used TOM TOM at Gibralter Trade Centre in Mount Clements Mi. for 60 bucks Works great...

My kids gave me a Garmin nuvi 266 w It came in a really nice box

I have a Magellan on my boat, it's an antique (97) but still works, but not great. I need a replacement. My '06 Dodge Charger has a built-in GPS which is light years ahead of the Magellan and we just got a TomTom 130-S portable for Jill's car. They are supposed to be very good. I'll report back after we use it for a few weeks.

Jerel I have had a Garmin nuvi for about four years now,I haven't had any trouble with it yet.It has saved me on a few trips,the only problem with it is you have to pay to have the maps upgraded from time to time on line.I payed a fee of $60.00 for a life time membership and they let me know by email when it is time to upgrade at no cost.I have a friend with a tom tom,he seems to always borrow mine.

We have the Garmin. The first upgrade is free. Still won't show the new Golden Ears bridge. My siter-in-law has had a Garmin for years and let us use it to get around Edmonton. Was great. Got mine at Future Shop for $177. 4.3 screen and I think its the 550

We have a TomTom 4.3 screen, good unit, new with a $60 factory rebate shipped was $168 Canadian

I like the Garmin, real easy to use. Does cost for upgrades or if you are going to Europe say you have to load the maps for $$. Real reliable. I have an old Nuvi and its tough as nails the new ones are great too. I have a factory gps in my wife's Denali and it totally sucks compared to the Garmin. The friggin GM one is very tough to use and the vehicle goes to the right instead of up , drives me nuts !

I have a cheap Tom tom one 130 model, but you know what I like it. It even has a map share program I like. Its a good bang for the buck. And does all the things I thought it wouldn't do but does.

Got my parents a Future Shop Name Brand Insignia for $99 brand new. They used it to go to Panama City without skipping a beat. best bang for buck brand new!

I've got a 4.3 TOM TOM had it for a yr. Took me right to the guy's door in Indiana on recent "road trip" no charge updates, & you can down load different voices from their site [some are free some not] We went down there with "Uncle Rummy" the drunk, laughed the whole trip!!!! Sounded just like Foster Brooks!!!!
