wasn't someone looking for a 68 convertible frame?  Get the car, keep the frame, and sell off the rest of the parts.

that one is 10 miles from me , know the owner. I'm told it's real rough. but if one needs parts....


look at his sellers others,, the 68 wagon that was a 396 car, I traded him that for a 64 Custom Sport dash tach.... of course the 396 was gone when I got it , but still, a solid car ( I also kept the posi and disc brakes )

Carl, I think we have learned that these sort of modification were done back in the day. Remember the SS427 we searched, the entire purpose was to see if the hideaways were documented...and they weren't. Installation looked factory too.

And I'm as guilty as anyone of doing stuff like that. I was adding options and making changes to cars and making it look as factory installed as I possibly could!
