Can you tell by the license on the front? If it is your car, I think they owe you some new stainless SD pieces at n/c. In fact, they have offended this forum so much that they owe us all stainless SD pieces at n/c! LOL. Seriously, I would go to the top of their organization and ask for some pieces as compensation (as well as removing your license plate from the photo.) Having said that, that is a primo photo!

Once you put something on the internet you are basically giving it to the public domain. No question it is you car though.
If they didn't block out your license plate though, I would be ticked off. (Even if it was a web designer that used the photo.) I would definately have a conversation with them asking for parts in lieu of the plate being shown, as well as asking them to immediately remove/cover the plate. If they agree to both, I'd let them continue using it...

car in there pic does not have white letter tires, may have been photo shopped out , stance is slightly different than your avatar??. I'm pretty sure it is your car however or almost identical.
Hey ,, If google earth has to block peoples license plates because of the privacy act..so should they.
asking pemission,, you would have been flattered.
it's worth a call to straighten this out...

The day that I took that picture,I had borrowed my soninlaws tires (blackwall, and torque thrust wheels, just to get a idea of what they would look like before I bought a set.
I'm sure the owner of the business just told the web designer to put a Beaumont pic in the header, I would be calling if it was my car, especially since your plate is visiable.

either way.. the car looks really really nice. and a major discount on stainless would be a fair deal.. I bet if you put that proposal out there to Tyler.. the photo will be gone in no time.. LOL
Shortly after that picture was taken my licence plate changed, as I went to a personalized plate,. would this mean that I wouldn't have to worry re the other one?
The car they are using seems to be right hand drive? note the emblem in grille, on right side, and when did I see a antenna on the left side? lol and the steering wheel is on right....

Haha, good eye Carl! I am thinking that the negative was processed upside down at a photo lab.
Any unauthorised use of your photo, especially on a commercial website, amounts to theft. If you bring that to their attention, they should remove it, or ask your permission to use it. In my business, I have to pay for images that I use for vehicle wraps or any sign I produce. Consequently, I really appreciate when people ask my permission to use or download my photos. It's a matter of respect. I have given permission, and refused permission, depending on what the use will be.
